From the blur of fur and stripes embodying the bottom of the composition, emerge a soft tangle of legs and serene face at the top third. A cozy portrait of Boo, the studio cat, as she sleeps contentedly.

CATS Though the portfolio is under the category of “Dog Studies” our cats demand, and deserve, attention. Furthering the departure from the theme of “Dog Studies” are the three paintings of Kitten Caboodle (Boo). The soft fur and the lack of high contrast distinguish them from most of the other paintings in the “Dog Studies” pack. Kitten Caboodle, a rare female orange tabby, appeared mysteriously two weeks after the death of our beloved Topper (also an orange tabby).
